*swoon*

Shnikeys! I was just alone in the dark with Curly!!!

Okay, yes, I was only letting him into an office where he'd printed something. An office where everybody was away on a one-day retreat and the place was all locked up and dark. Neither one of us reached for a light. And when the printer ended up being out of the right size paper, then out of a yellow ink cartridge --- well, it took a few minutes while we both worked over the printer to try and bring it to life. No success, but you know I didn't mind! We were standing there right next to each other. Shoulder to shoulder, hip to hip - just an inch of airspace between us. What a rush. I have no idea if it's possible for one person to feel such sparkly heat and the other not to feel anything at all, but there's certainly sparkles and fire on this side!

Curly and I have been thrown together in some really oddball ways during the last couple weeks. Here's this guy I've worked in the same building with for nearly two years, and I think I've seen and talked to him more in the last two weeks than in the last two years altogether. Part of me wonders if there's something more mysterious pulling the strings.

Now if I could just manage not to act like a complete tween whenever he walks in the room...

You are SO adorable Jitterbug! Don't you just love the feeling of being in love? (or at least in lust?) It's so excited to feel the electricity in the air, in a touch and to feel your stomach to flip flops and your heart flutter when they are near. *sigh* Maybe you should try something incredibly un-1940's and see if he is on facebook or myspace ;)

Ah sweet crushes!
Enjoy the feeling, and use some of those lovely vintage things you've been learning - or maybe you should look into the coy arts of flirty?
;)

Ahhh. You are right it is a rush. Keep noticing the other guys, though! What fun it is to be young and gorgeous.

A crush can certainly be a lovely, distracting thing. I feel like my heart is practically thudding right through my chest when he's around... He's just so darn pretty! And nice, to boot. Don't worry, Packrat, I'm noticing plenty of men these days. :)

lpm, I love your idea about looking into some vintage advice on this subject. Hey, it hasn't let me down yet!
